Recently, a delegation of eight members from the Youth Committee of the Macau Construction Association visited the Bank of China Youth Association in Macau to hold a discussion. The delegation was warmly received by the Bank of China Youth Association President Zhou Yonghao, Vice President Wei Aogao, Chairman Yan Yiheng, Vice President and Secretary-General Chen Weibin, Vice Chairman Zhang Mingbo, and members Lu Zhipeng and Wu Siyu.

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Luo Shaocong pointed out that since the establishment of the Youth Committee of the Macau Construction Association, they have organized numerous exchange activities for the development of the construction industry and youth in Macau, with the aim of contributing to the future development of the industry. In December of last year, they co-organized the "Dream Building Workshop" with the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau to help secondary school students interested in the construction industry to better understand it and plan their careers. In addition, in September of this year, they co-organized the "Accessible Architecture Design Seminar" with the Architects Association of Macau to promote accessible construction in Macau and explore ways to create an accessible environment in the city.

Director Lai Meng Shan stated that with the promotion of the development policies of the Greater Bay Area and the release of the "Overall Plan for the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," Macau has been given more opportunities for development. As Hengqin is used as a pilot zone, Hong Kong and Macau construction enterprises can practice and undertake projects there. However, due to the different currencies and financial systems between the two regions, Macau enterprises may encounter difficulties in capital flows in the early stages of development. Therefore, it is hoped that the discussion can provide professional advice and promote the moderate integration of the construction industry in the two regions.

Zhou Yonghao noted that the construction industry is one of the pillar industries in Macau. If the Macau construction industry wants to move into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it must integrate the financial policies of the two regions. The Bank of China Youth Association has provided professional advice to the government on cross-border capital flows, financing, and offshore direct loans to help Macau entrepreneurs and youth develop in the Greater Bay Area.
